When was the last time you were excited to read??

Honestly when can you say you were last excited to sit down and read a book? Of course textbooks don't count, because no one is ever excited to read those. Recently I purchased some new books and I am so excited to start reading.

One of my resolutions is to practice more self love and appreciation, so what a better way to practice then investing in my mind, body and soul.

I had the pleasure of reading Pleasure by Eric Jerome Dickey, in my high school days. Since then I have always been a fan and read countless amount of his books. He has a wide array of books that will definitely keep you entertained.

Milk and Honey by Rapi Kaur, I have heard about this book in the past , but recently I seen it on various reading lists. It is collection of poems that reflect on everyday aspects of life.

We are going to need more wine by Gabrielle Union, I am definitely looking forward to grabbing a glass or several and curling up with this book. I have always been a fan of hers and love her strength as a black women. This book is on the best sellers list , and I happy to support another woman of color.
